Book Review: Cupid's Serenade by Kristina Stangl

Cupid's Serenade is an engrossing love story exploring the complexities of love and the unexplained twists of romance. Combining mythology and a contemporary romance, the story weaves a delightful story of love, relationships and fate.

Blending Mythology with romance, The story is about Kordelia, the daughter of Greek Gods Aphrodite and Ares and a real life cupid. After

successfully pairing some legendary couples like Romeo and Juliet, she gets her toughest assignment till date, finding a love match for Dr. Peter Murphy. Peter Murphy has stayed away from love and romance after a heartbreak. Despite being warned to stay away from this case, Kordelia decides to take up the challenge. Will she be successful?

The book explores the true meaning of love. Is love destined by faith or something we choose? Can a Cupid finally meet his match or will love still triumph and this premise is what makes it an intriguing read.

The characters of Kordelia and Peter are well crafted and their opposite beliefs about love and the undeniable chemistry between the two makes it an entertaining read. The book brings out the conflict between their feelings and beliefs really well.

Overall "Cupid's Serenade" is an enthralling read capturing the essence of true love. If you are a romance lover, you will enjoy this book.
