The Holidays Are Here šŸŽƒšŸšŸŽ„

Today is October 1st, 2020 which marks the beginning of the holiday season. I love all of the holidays that are coming up: Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. However my favorite is Halloween, I love everything about it from the candy, costumes, haunted houses, scary movies, etc. Of course i can't forget another thing I'm excited about: books!!

I am very excited for the reading selection that I will be having the for the rest of the year, in this post I will be telling you some of the books on my TBR for October, November, and December. Now I have many ideas of books to read in the next two months and I want to share it with you all, my fellow book lovers. First for thriller/mystery/horror books

  • IT by Stephen King

  • The Outsider by Stephen King

  • Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

  • Misery by Stephen King

  • The Woman in the Window by A.J Finn

This is the priority list of books I want to read for October. There are other books that may not classify as thrillers but they are dark and spooky in ways that are perfect for the fall season. Here are some below:

  • Scythe by Neal Shusterman

  • Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo

  • Harry Potter Series by Daniel Radcliffe ( no this is not a typo)

  • Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo

  • Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

These are books I would like to read in October but are also on the list to read for November. This list is not concrete, when it comes to books anything can happen. There are some books that I am considering either getting or borrowing on Libby to read for the next three months. As for December I have some choices on what to read

  • To All the Boys Iā€™ve Loved Before series by Jenny Han

  • Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia

  • Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline

  • The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory

  • The Hating Game by Sally Thorne

Some of these donā€™t classify as Christmas reads however they are books that I can imagine myself reading in December. There also non fiction books that will reading during this time however I didn't include them here because they don't match the holiday themes and I am focusing on fiction. I am very excited for this time of year ,we get to celebrate the holidays and it is one step closer to this year ending. Let's face it this year was the worst, I can't even articulate how much I have hated this year. I'm ready for the new year ( let's hope it is not as bad). As I have said earlier in the post this is not a concrete list of books I will read, some books might be added, taken away, or simply don't get to them ( struggles of a college student). Let me know what you guys plan on reading this holiday season:) If you have any other recommendations I would love to hear them:)

P.S shout out to people who celebrate other holidays I didn't mention (Kwanzaa, Hannauakh, etc)
